Be Healthy Beverly is a coalition focused primarily on youth substance use prevention and mental health promotion. Our mission is to create sustainable change that will engage youth and community members while educating and empowering them to live a healthier lifestyle. We aim to make Beverly a healthier, more connected community by increasing substance use prevention, access to mental health resources, and improving the environment around us. Our members represent the Beverly Schools, the YMCA, First Responders, the business and healthcare communities, elected officials, the Board of Health, Parks & Recreation, and the faith community in Beverly.
Our most recent accomplishments have been conducting a city-wide key informant interview process, assisting in liquor compliance checks, supporting annual drug take-back days, providing CRAFFT training, Youth Mental Health First Aid training, partnering with RYPN on a trusted adult, and more.
