The Regional Youth Prevention Network has been using social media to promote the “Talk. They Hear You” (TTHY) campaign using print and video PSAs with the message that it’s important and powerful when parents and guardians talk with their children about the dangers of substance use.
TTHY is a parent–focused national media campaign started in 2013 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The goal of SAMHSA’s “Talk. They Hear You” campaign is to equip parents with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to prevent underage drinking and substance use.
We know how much of an influence parents have over their child’s substance use, so don’t wait- talk, they hear you.
