The Beverly Middle School Change Makers are a group of middle school students from grades 5-8 who are passionate about making a difference in their school and community. The BMS Change Makers operate by learning what the youth care about at the beginning of the year and then jumping right into action. This fun, hardworking youth group focuses on projects that involve increasing protective factors for youth while decreasing risk factors. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in becoming a Change Maker, check out the information below!

Last school year, the BMS Change Makers implemented a Kindness Campaign for the 5th-grade class, which began with surveying to gather information on how students at BMS show and see kindness and mistreatment. The students then created posters to spread kindness throughout the school and presented their campaign at a monthly Be Healthy Beverly meeting.
